Please reduce the entry cost of these overpriced shovelware giveaways to 0P. Alternatively, these types of giveaways should be prohibited altogether. They probably exist for the sole purpose of exploiting the contribution sent value system.
Some examples:

Even thought the contribution value is reduced to those games, yes we need to handle it properly.
For that we would need a help of volunteer moderators, which we are going to look for in near future.

a user is posting these giveways valued 100 points
please give em a check, and if possible prohibit them from level farming
Even though they are posting those, the actual value for leveling up is 0, so they won't receive any contribution toward levels.
Edit: Max entry cost has been now capped on 60 points, so no matter how much is store price, it will be a max of 60 points for entry.
I think a good algorithm would be able to detect these games easily, and you can get volunteers to do occasional quality checks and manual checks if the algorithm somehow fails. Some good criteria to consider:
- Does the game have crazy 95% discounts?
- Is the game profile features limited?
- How many reviews does the game have?
- Is the number of concurrent players < 5?
- Was the price of the game at $1 but coincidentally became $50 or $100 today?
- Is the game published by shovelware publishers? (Notably Gamesforgames Studios)
Steamgifts has an entire thread dedicated to this topic, as it was an affliction first there.

The intent of such titles is to "scam a good deal" by offering continual maximum sale discount on a ridiculous base price, or bundle.
It seems unfair though, that the entry for such games is AAA pricing, wondering if it can be lowered to 1p if on "the naughty list"
